The year was 1938.
GERMANY was preparing something BIG but we didn't know at the time until it was too late.
ORSON WELLES' radio broadcast of H.G WELLS' WAR OF THE WORLDS scares the bejesus out of every man, woman, and child in AMERICA,
Superman makes his modern debut appearance in ACTION COMICS #1
And in that same year on NOVEMBER,
An incident with the OZONE causes a TELEVISION BROADCAST from the UNITED KINGDOM to be transmitted from that region into the NORTH EASTERN UNITED STATES and it was picked by RCA of all companies.
The results..... speak for itself:
This is a rather interesting phenomenon as this was before the days of VIDEO TAPE,
before the days of SATELLITE where you can get a feed from a different country instead of your own,
And certainly before the days of portable video cameras.
And computers...... were still VACUUM TUBE based and infeasible in 1938 for capturing video.
As you can see, it was a Camera recording in front of a TV but not in a sense you might be thinking.
Like I said, there were no digital cameras in 1938,
No Video Tape cameras like a SONY HANDYCAM in 1938,
And BELL AND HOWELL Cameras weren't even a thing in 1938....
All of it was done on full-sized....16mm film reels........
