Fan Art Fridays 04

Active business means keeping this blog active and avoiding Maverick Quickies for a good while because I'm going to be booked for the first quarter of February 2025.

I got several shifts at my job to take care of so I'm sort of booked.

And Feb 1st was when I was susposed to be at my Baptist Church to help clean the computers, including the Streaming PC I built back in April 2024, but I got informed that I've been exempted from doing so.

For those who need a recap about that streaming PC, here's the link to when I built said PC:

Anyway, back to topic,

FAN ART FRIDAYS!!!

You know the drill: REAL HUMAN ARTISTS!!!

...because REAL HUMAN ARTISTS are so good.

(Pardon my poor attempt to sound like actor Mike Myers.)

Anyway, here are my picks:

Considering both Pokémon Indigo League and Final Fantasy VII made their debut in 1997,

this outfit swap is appropriate.

(Though Misty herself came out in 1996 so a year before Tifa Lockhart did.)

The only time Linebeck and Jolene face each other in person.

Even ZELDA and her Lorule counterpart HILDA are against A.I

if that disclaimer is any indication.

Yes, I know it's way past Halloween, and she's no ADRIANA CASELOTTI but...

RUKIA KUTCHIKI is a much better Snow White than Rachel Zegler...

SERIOUSLY!!!

How embarrassing.

I guess I didn't transfer a majority of my Photos from my Phone to my PC.

Hopefully I'll transfer them all before next week.

There might be some gaps between this and Next Friday due to work at the Airport but I'll do my best to keep this blog more active.

Update as of March 22 2025:

I still stand by my Snow White Comment as stated above.

The damn remake came out and as predicted, the remake is terrible.

FOLLY is too gentle of a word to describe the fallacy that was released.

Fanart Fridays 03

I've got a pretty neat post about the CAPS Computers Disney had in the 90s as well as a post on Laurel and Hardy and Maya Acting exercises coming up but both of them are still need some work before I'm ready to post them.

That being said, I need to keep this Blog Active, what with my Airport Job and all.

So I give out another healthy addition to my Fanart Fridays Posts that I started this month.

Rules remain the same:

ONLY REAL HUMAN ARTISTS!!!

Here are my picks for this Fanart Friday:

Worked better if Lisa Groening is still with Craig Bartlett.

Chucky Finster is not amused that he had to substitute for actor Brad Dourif.

I actually used this fanart of Historia for a Drawing Class I taught in 2023

Yes, I know it won't 95%  happen but just for once,

I can imagine a DANDADAN/Spy X Family Crossover

making it's debut on Netflix.

Should have happened in the FAST FOOD MASQUARADE episode but didn't

but man, Pomni displaying a mastery of Burger making would really turn things around for the better.

The three Zelda's

(Skyward Sword, A Link to the Past, & Tears of the Kingdom)

welcome the most recent addition which is from

ECHOS OF WISDOM.

Ugh...DEXTER....

You really shouldn't have the Gall to insult Jimmy Neutron like that....

especially since Jenny is a fellow Nicktoon too.

Coincidental comparison of Lupin vs. The Bad Guys

according to the fan artist

...

Am I lacking in fan art to choose from?

Nah. It's not like that.

They're just all in my iPhone.

I really need to transfer the rest of them into my 18TB Western Digital easystore.

Fanart Fridays 02

Another Healthy edition of my Fanart Fridays.

Once again, the rules remain the same:

NO AI ART.

ONLY REAL HUMAN ARTISTS!!!

This is this week's selection of Fanart:

Share this fanart to both Hayao Miyazaki and Claire Danes.

Ocarina & Twilight Link fighting over who's the better Farm Girl of their dreams.

I can picture her singing as I type this post.

If Procreate isn't enough proof for the late ARLEEN SORKIN, then a real Canvas should be enough.

The Three Bayonettas United

Love this fanart of Gohan and Videl dressed like Clark Kent and Lois Lane from

Adult Swim's MY ADVENTURES WITH SUPERMAN.

(I edited this art just to remove the screenshot it was referencing because I needed just the fanart.)

Proceeds go to praying for those fighting valiantly against wildfires in Los Angeles.

Not much but this is my way of helping out others, especially to those wonderful real artists in L.A who are also fighting valiantly against the fires, so support the art community will ya.

Fanart Fridays 01+My heart goes out to those in L.A

While I was returning either from a Washroom break.... or was it a garbage disposal at my job at the airport,

A brilliant thing came up on my mind,

How about I do these posts every Friday instead of Maverick Quickies or inactivity.

Basically what I do is I find something on my Phone or my External Hard Drive that's befitting of Fan-Art and post what I think are the best to appear on my Blog.

The Labels associated franchise based on the Fan-Art will correspond with what I'm posting here.

Keep in mind that I will only focus on art that's made by REAL HUMAN ARTISTS!!!

NO AI fan-art will be used.

That's how picky I am but at the same time, REAL ART is not meant to be made easy no matter how good your 4090(or future 5090)'s Neural processors are.

Anyway, here are a handful I've chosen for this Friday.

When I mean REAL HUMAN ARTISTS,

You just need to show proof and this PROCREATE screenshot is acceptable proof.

When I saw this scene play out on the PS1 game MEGAMAN LEGENDS,

I laughed my ass off till my stomach hurt...

And I bet the fan-artist agreed when making this art piece.

After doing that post and sharing the similarities of Momo Ayase and Kuzco with their earings,

I felt obligated to use this costume swap with Momo Ayase and Akane Tendo.

And yes, I still feel the pain in the industry today...

But this time, it's not my rage against Hollywood Executives but rather towards the dreaded Santa Ana winds.

I'm saddened to the core about the Palisades wildfires in Los Angeles that I feel that I need to send in my support to those fighting valiantly against the inferno.

And my support is at an all-time high due to my hometown VANCOUVER being a SISTER CITY to LOS ANGELES so that's a given.

I hope the fires subside...
