We're all anticipating the release of GRAND THEFT AUTO VI releasing for the PS5 and XBOX SERIES X coming in NOVEMBER 19 2026.
And to be honest, A lot of us have become somewhat impatient with ROCKSTAR.
That's because the game was susposed to release in late 2025 but then the foul taste left behind by the Fall 2022 leaks caused moral to deplete with the programmers which lead to the game being delayed until MAY 2026.....
And then came the late October 2025 news that the game would be delayed to November 19 2026 with the excuse being to further polish the game so it doesn't end up an unfinished disaster like CYBERPUNK was.....
I get that ROCKSTAR wanted this to look perfect but GAMERS are not only impatient but they don't like excuses like using CYBERPUNK to justify delays just to avoid a buggy release and believe me, CYBERPUNK was not the only game to suffer that at launch.
FALLOUT 76 & the original release of SKYRIM are testaments to all that.
Anyway. Shared Venting over.
What's the topic?
What's the topic?
Well.........
WE'RE ALL IMPATIENT FOR TRAILER 3.
So for a while, I've been searching on GOOGLE,
both on CHROME & SAFARI on my iPhone 17 Pro MAX,
what would be a good contender for a song to accompany TRAILER 3....
Well, this ENGLISH DRUMMER/SINGER who's more well known in the USA for his contribution to MTV and DISNEY has always been a fan of the GTA games.
It got to a point that he even got his own character in VICE CITY STORIES released for the PSP and PS2 back in 2006
The last game we had that featured a PHIL COLLINS song was GTA 5 and that featured COLLINS' 1982 hit "I DON'T CARE ANYMORE."
Anyway....
I've put multiple GOOGLE SEARCHES of my suggestion that the song that should be used in TRAILER 3 for GTA 6 should be "TWO HEARTS."
If you want to hear what that song is susposed to be like
(either you never heard it before or you've heard it before but promptly forgot)
Here's the YOUTUBE LINK to the song:
Why should TWO HEARTS be the song that's used in GTA 6's THIRD TRAILER?
Well......
It may have to do with the fact that this song was already attached to a movie back in the 80s and that was the 1988 film BUSTERThis film is based on the 1963 GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY.
If you want to read more on the film, here's the Wikipedia page to the film:
So...... why TWO HEARTS in GTA 6?
It's obvious.
The sheer fact that JASON & LUCIA are likely to be inseparable throughout the game is what makes TWO HEARTS more fitting.
DOUBLY SO if the song becomes the leitmotif for the DUO when together in the ADs.
Another reason why I think they should use TWO HEARTS in GTA 6 is likely due to the news of recent health problems for our favorite Singer. He looks much Healthier in this photo, and probably is recovered by now.....
But earlier in the year, he had health scares.
So ROCKSTAR licensing his music should be enough to pay his Medical Bills and ensure a complete 100% recovery alongside his newer music he's making.
And one final reason for wanting TWO HEARTS as the song for TRAILER 3 is due to this:This is the EMBLEM for the long defunct CARONLINA CIRCLE MALL in GREENSBORO, North Carolina...
(Yes, I live in Vancouver.)
I follow this YOUTUBER called BILLY COORE who runs the YouTube channel
So what does PHIL COLLINS have to do with him anyway?
Well... If you've seen his older videos or read his blog CAROLINA CIRCLE CITY, you'll know that he often heard this song while visiting MONTGOMERY WARD at the Mall and the song was also the catalyst for him pursuing NOSTALGIA after hearing the song on a Radio while attending PENDLE HILL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL back in 2005.
So, While COORE isn't likely a GTA Fan unlike his friend CLINT BASINGER of LGR, having TWO HEARTS being used in GTA 6 would be a VERY NICE DOUBLE WHAMMY for BILLY COORE not because of the song being used in game but rather due to the song being the total Catalyst for his entire YouTube Career.
I know for sure ROCKSTAR might not see this BLOGPOST and they might use a different song for TRAILER 3 but still, it would be nice to hear TWO HEARTS in the game as a featured song through the in-game Radio.....
If that doesn't happen as well.... well....
There's always the inevitable PC Port in 2027 and the PC Ports will always have the option of giving us the ability to attach our own songs to the game.
Well.... We'll just wait and see what happens.
For me, I'm excited.
But first, I need to buy a new Controller.
Both of my DUALSENSE controllers have suffered Stick Drift so I need to buy the DUALSENSE EDGE controller before I buy GTA 6 when it finally releases this November.
