SAG-AFTRA's Mighty Pissed!!!

Back in 2023, SAG-AFTRA voted unanimously in July of that year that the union would go on strike because according to Fran Drescher and her legion of actors who are members of the guild,

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

with studios refusing to pay residuals to the actors.

And using the COVID-19 pandemic to justify the residual refusal was a NOT OK excuse.

But the discourse wasn't just because of residuals but also due to issues relating to studios starting to develop an interest in AI and that got people concerned.

2 Years later, those concerns have all but been partially thrown out.

If you've been reading on the news, a startup(who's been around since 2015), announced their newest actor called TILLY NORWOOD.

Well apparently, The existence of TILLY has pissed off many actors who are registered members of SAG-AFTRA because this is what they've warned us about during their protests and picket lines.

And yet, XICOIA's latest achievement went heavily ignored.

...... Fortunately, no movies are announced for casting of this Machine-Generated abomination but here's what I think of this recent development.

Yeah, My Image of RJ MCREADY drinking pretty much sums up my reaction to the development because while I'm emotionally numbed, if this happened in 2023, my rage would've reached heights like never before imagined.

Maverick Quickie-Simpsons movie sequel coming in 2027 just as Bart's chalkboard predicted+Look who's stolen Marvel's spot in the release date.

On July 27 2007, THE SIMPSONS MOVIE was released to movie theatres Worldwide to a phenomenal success.

Around 2 months later,
On September 23 2007, the Season 19 Episode
HE LOVES TO FLY AND HE D'OHES
Aired on FOX.

And this Chalkboard gag showed up.
The joke that the chalkboard was referring to was the Time Gap between the 1987 premiere of The Tracey Ullman Show to the movie in 2007.

Little did we all know back then was that exactly 20 years later, that Chalkboard gag will stay true to it's word because this is what I saw on my FACEBOOK FEED:

Certainly a way to spend my time on this MAVERICK QUICKIE considering how much of a SIMPSONS fan I am.

Anyway, that's all there is to it.

Oh, and THE SIMPSONS MOVIE Sequel has indeed stolen a release date that was meant for several MARVEL movies coming that year.

That's all I've got to say. No sharing of memes or fanart to describe all this.
