Tweety Bird's fight with STIMPY's ancestors-A Gruesome Twosome

Here's another Cartoon starring the then-naked featherless TWEETY BIRD before FRIZ FRELENG took the BOID into his mantle:

This is TWEETY's THIRD Cartoon he starred in.

Just like with my previous post about A TALE OF TWO KITTIES, 

This Cartoon features CATS who want to deal with birds.

But it starts off a little unrelated to that.

It all begins with a beautifully done multiplane pan to the right.

We see a silhouette of two cats.

Who could they be?

Why it's a Yellow Cat trying to make the moves with a Fancy ass Female PERSIAN CAT

But then......

Suddenly, a RED CAT shows up.

I've read that THAT RED CAT is a dead ringer for Comedian/Singer JIMMY DURANTE.

Though I barely seen his films with the sole exception being SMILER GROGAN in STANLEY KRAMER's 1963 epic comedy IT'S A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD

Anyway, the JIMMY DURANTE CAT whacks the YELLOW CAT.

It looks like DURANTE CAT isn't gonna allow MR. YELLOW CAT hog the Female Cat to himself.

Compared to the YELLOW CAT who just meowed a Serenade based on the 1909 Pop-tune "ME-OW", DURANTE CAT's serenade is actually based on JIMMY DURANTE himself.

Like I said, DURANTE CAT is indeed a dead ringer for the actor because the Cat says HA-CHA-CHA-CHA just like JIMMY did in his routines.

But then.....

"Hey, Pardon me Friend but...."

"That's my girl!!!"

"BEAT IT BUB!!!!"

"I work at this side of the alley!"

*Kicks the Cat out of the way.*

The fights between the two cats kind of drag on especially for BLOG standards so let's just skip ahead to the good parts.

Though in between the acts, this dog shows up out of nowhere.

Anyway, the Persian Cat does not appreciate the two Cats fighting.

"Are you two fighting?"

Uh Oh.... Two Cats caught in a fight.

I wish I had a screengrab but I'm missing one but the Persian Cat makes a bet to the two Cats that if they can catch a bird for her, then she'll forgive the two for their indiscretion. 

Now unlike in A TALE OF TWO KITTIES which featured two Cats having to work together in catching a bird

There's a COCKFIGHT between two Cats this time around due to the bumbling antics of both the JIMMY DURANTE CAT & the YELLOW CAT.

"A BOID'S NEST!!!!"

Well Look who Won the race to get the boid!

But come on, this is a TWEETY BIRD Cartoon. You know what's gonna happen.

"Ya Know, I TAWT A TAW A PUDDY TAT!!!!"

"Hey.... I TAWT I TAW ANOTHER PUDDY TAT!!!"

"I DID! I DID!

I TAW TWO PUDDY TATS!!!"

"Have you PUDDY TATS met?"

!!!!!!

As far as I know, these two Cats are fighting over the retrieval of the BOID.....

But TWEETY has something up his featherless sleeve.

"YEAAAAAAOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!"

Yup.

Even after a previous outing, Tweety has not yet lost his touch.

Nor his wit.

"Bombs away!"

"Oh the poor PUDDY TATS"

"They fall down and go..."

"BOOM!!!!"

The two cats wake up to the tune....

"Who's singing?"

Why none other that TWEETY BIRD,

After a Brief fight between the two Cats,

The Durante Cat realizes that.....

Both of them are gonna go nowhere if they keep squabbling over a bird

So....

They decide it's better off to work together....

Of course, TWEETY BIRD is not gonna make this easy to pull off

"Oh... Look what you've done now you stupid Boid!!!"

"It wasn't me! I didn't do nothin to them PUDDY TATS.

I swear."

Alright. I'll take your word for it....

As if the main header for this post hadn't tipped you off,

This Cartoon was the one that inspired JOHN KRICFALUSI to create his famous STIMPY Character back when he studied Animation at Sheridan College in 1978.

All it took was to take the Red Fur, White Paws, and Large Bulbous nose of the JIMMY DURANTE CAT and combine that with the Retarded Personality of the YELLOW CAT

and we get the lovable MANX CAT of an EEDIOT!!!

Of course, 

Once Nickelodeon picked up the series, they demanded that STIMPY should be less RETARDED, 

both in the design

and Personality

"Oh Joy!!!"

And he also has the voice of LARRY FINE from THE THREE STOOGES

"I may have died in 1975 but I didn't sign for BILLY WEST

to impersonate me for that Retarded Manx Cat"

This Cartoon is also the very last to which we have the original NAKED TWEETY

because the HAYS OFFICE cried afoul(No Avian Puns please) 

not just because of the proper biology of an semi-altricial Baby Bird

but rather due to the fact that he's based on BOB CLAMPETT's naked baby butt photo.

Although CLAMPETT was susposed to clean up TWEETY's act both in design and biology, he left Warner Bros. in 1945 due to wanting to pursue a Television career so FRIZ FRELENG took the BOID and gave him Yellow Canary Feathers...

The FEATHERED TWEETY actually was supposed to be credited to CLAMPETT but like I said, he left, so FRELENG took all the credit for giving our Favorite BOID his feathers and later a new adversary.....

Uh Oh... Sylvester's mighty pissed towards me because I haven't given him any respect.

Unfortunate however that SR. BULLET BILL doesn't have this cartoon in his archive.org account.

I was able to find a print from user dcaligari, hence the screenshots but for the sake of preservation, I won't provide a link to the print, not because the cartoon is still under Copyright until January 1st 2041 but because I don't want any dead links if in the event, the cartoon is suddenly removed from the user's account,
