But I need to keep this blog active.
And what has emerged from my cerebellum this time?
Why none other than this COCA-COLA Ad from when they made STEWIE fight with UNDERDOG over a bottle of COKE.
Here's the ad in full:
And yes, I've stumbled upon the BEHIND THE SCENES look at how the commercial was shot, animated, composited, color corrected, etc.
Sorry if I'm repeating the Commercial but if you watch past the Coke Logo at the end,
then you will see the Behind the Scenes look.
Pretty cool ad from the bygone years when COCA-COLA allowed any sort of artistic creativity by the hands of those manipulating the skeletons of CG rigs.
I will admit, I prefer PEPSI these days but at the same time, COKE seemed to get all the glory these days in terms of their advertising.
But with COCA-COLA turning to AI for their commercials and their refusal to back down from it much to the chagrin of artists and fans, PEPSI should instead dominate the SUPER BOWL AD SPACE next year in 2027 and beyond so.....
Here's my Idea for a pitch for what can be done for PEPSI's 2027 Super Bowl Commercial:
Have DOUG FUNNIE from DISNEY'S DOUG get into a argument with BENDER from FUTURAMA over who gets the last 2L Bottle of PEPSI at a PARTY before STEWIE GRIFFIN from FAMILY GUY shows up and claims the bottle to himself, all while saying his classic catchphrase "VICTORY SHALL BE MINE!!!"
All while DOUG threatens to throw Stewie like a football towards Bender's Chest Cavity due to his head being literally shaped that way, but by the time the commercial comes to a close, Stewie makes his escape using his TIME MACHINE's Return Pod. Much to the annoyance of both DOUG and BENDER.
And have it be animated on TOON BOOM HARMONY all by hand.
On WACOM CINTIQs that is.
AND HIRE BACK BILLY WEST as DOUG FUNNIE because I want my DOUG with the VOICE of PHILLIP J. FRY and not FRANCIS MCREARY.
Now that's a good pitch.
Or submit in your comments what could be your ideal PEPSI ad for next year's Super Bowl.
