Hayden Brentwood Drawing on Mario Paint+Other Digital Drawings.

Well this a sight for sore eyes.

I was looking through my iPhone 15 Pro's Photo album and I found a photo I took on my iPhone 11 back when I was in my late sophomore year in college....

The photo was taken using my iPhone 11's Camera circa November 2021.

This was my attempt to draw my character Hayden Brentwood on Mario Paint....

Of course, I don't own an actual cartridge for Mario Paint, nor do I have the accompanying SNES Mouse and its mouse pad.

I was using an emulator called SNEX9X just to play MARIO PAINT on my computer.

But the emulator is surprisingly powerful and yes it does have the option to let you use your mouse as an emulated SNES Mouse.

For those who are curious or need a refresher, here's what the SNES Mouse and it's accompanying Mouse Pad look like:

However, I bet that even after moving from Opto-Mechanical Encoding disks with steel balls coated in rubber to Optical sensors, drawing with a mouse is still a hassle.

And believe me, it still is a hassle nearly 25+ years later since using my very first computer which was a Compaq Presario 5477.

I don't have any art made in Paint during that time but I have some old art from 2008 which was made using Paint on my MDG Horizon 2400 back in the day.

Man, I was really into WALL-E back in 2008.

My prediction of what the Next Windows after Vista would be back in 2008.....
This was a year before Windows 7 came in October 2009.

For those who need a fresh dose of Nostalgia,
this is what Windows 7 actually looked like:
I'm surprised the Blogger let me upload my original drawings because these above drawings, sans the Mario Paint one, used the .BMP file format.

I later found out Blogger converts the old .BMP files into jpeg files.

In the later years, my digital art no longer used MS-Paint, nor drawing with a mouse.

I've since moved on to other software like Paint.Net, Photoshop, Colors!, etc.

And the tool I use is Styluses. It's more traditional to draw with a stylus since it feels a lot like an actual pencil, pen, etc.

Though temp your expectations because it's better to use tablets and stylus combos that include pressure sensitivity.

Here are some from my High School Years:

But even those above are a far cry from what I worked on later... shown below:

And my personal Favorite:

So many drawings to uncover but I'll save those for a future blogpost.
