Clash of the Fiery and Insistent Girls with the heart of gold-Ryoko vs Nimona.

A continuation of comparing Anime Characters vs their Western Counterparts if such Coincidences happen.

I consider myself an Animation Character comparison connoisseur when it comes to comparing when two characters from an anime and western cartoon shares similar personality traits.

Like back in November 2023 when I compared STAR BUTTERFLY to LUM INVADER.

But here's a another piece of juice: 

Nimona from.... NIMONA vs Ryoko Hakubi from TENCHI MUYO.

To be honest, unlike with the Star Butterfly quickie I did where I did actually watch Star Vs. The Forces of Evil, 

I have yet to watch NIMONA on Netflix and really need to invest my free time to watch it since I do have an account with them.

So bear with me but this is the reality of having not watched that much content and all I have to rely on is Wikipedia articles, TV Tropes pages, and IMDB photos.

Based on the knowledge, I'd say the only part of Nimona that is similar to Ryoko is persistence.

Nimona is a persistent gal and insists on being the sidekick to a knight.... and a gay knight by the looks of it.

Ryoko on the other hand is similar but her motives are different.

She's a space pirate who's madly in love with a protagonist who's sole purpose in the show with his name on it is be the mediator to his two girlfriends.

Two Girlfriends? Tenchi really must be going around but when you have two girlfriends, they are bound to fight over who gets you.... 

Ryoko and Ayeka are not Betty and Veronica so don't ask how they handle Tenchi.

This really isn't a fair comparison because we got a space pirate girl who has the hots for a protagonist and a fierce rivalry with a princess

while Nimona on the other hand has no competition and the Knight in question happens to be gay... as in seeks relations with the same sex.

And TENCHI MUYO is from the 90s while NIMONA is from 2023... so..... not what I call a fair comparison.

But when I find comparisons between a character from a Western Cartoon vs an Anime Character, I know I will dedicate an entire Maverick Quickie to said comparisons.
