It's a series of keyboard and mouse combinations that make navigating Autodesk Maya easier.
So if you're in art school, paying for a MAYA license for your own time, or just need a healthy reminder, just refer to these hotkeys.
Now one might say,
"WHY DOES YOUR SHEET SAY MAYA 2018 when you started using the software in 2020?"
How did you know I crossed that out?
Anyway, about that,
I was told by my instructors to use MAYA 2018 during my first semester.
Then I was told to use 2019 when we were social distancing at home during COVID.
I then switched to using 2020 during my Summer Semester but that version had a slow startup on my MSI Laptop, and didn't play ball very well with Renderman most of the time, especially during Batch Renders.
I eventually upgraded to 2022 during my Summer Semester
Before switching to 2023, then to 2024 which I currently use.
But the Hotkey sheets will still work fine no matter what version of MAYA you're using.
But for those using Blender, take the sheet with a Grain of Salt because it's Hotkey and Navigation system is very different, even when you switch the controls to MAYA Controls....
Or as Blender likes to call it: INDUSTRY STANDARD.
But whatever, I use MAYA for my 3D Animation work because I was educated in using MAYA,
I will not switch CG Software for anything else.
Well, maybe the rendering engines used by MAYA but that's about it.
.....
Ironic how the most easy to use 3D Animation tool is also the most expensive.....
Though not as expensive as some compositing Software such as FOUNDRY's NUKE
Which I've used to composite final batch renders from MAYA.
