Mercy me.....
Why a Maverick Quickie this late at night?
But I decided to provide this update via a Quickie because on the afternoon of September 10th 2024, I finally bought myself a new 4K TV.
What I have is a 43" HISENSE A68N 4K Google Smart TV.
Man, I've waited almost a decade to actually own a 4K TV.
I first heard about them in 2014 but man, those TVs were expensive compared to the 1080p displays which were rapidly dropping in price.
I've relented on buying a new 4K TV for a while due to the newer manufactured TVs no longer coming with Composite Jacks.
Now some of you may think "Why Composite when everybody uses HDMI?"
Well, I have several devices with Legacy Composite and I wasn't in the position to want to buy a cheap adapter or a big Converter Box.
So I needed something that was built into the TV right out of the box.
Right now, I have my PS5, Nintendo Switch, Wii-U, GameCube, N64, SNES, and NES hooked up to it.
No, I will not be plugging in my HISENSE TV to my Maverick Falcon's RTX 4080 GPU.
I might plug my MSI Laptop to it but that's about it.
My Maverick Falcon 7900RT Custom Built Desktop PC is just fine with my
ASUS TUF VG27AQ 1440p Monitor,
ACER NITRO QG241Y 1080P Monitor,
and WACOM ONE Pen Display.
