My desire to enter the caricature space

Lately, I've been interested in entering the caricature space of art.

I'm not trying to be a caricature artist or anything but rather, I want to take a chance at drawing somewhat realistic characters for my own art without resorting to my own art style which I for some reason did to my caricature of Andy Warhol.
Chadly Chin aside, this caricature of Warhol had my art style slip in so that's something I need to change.

So yeah, I'll still draw in my own art style but for human studies, I need to break away my art style in favor of trying a more realistic approach.

That and I want to improve on my own attempts at drawing from real life. I managed to stumble upon some of my own facial studies from my college days and to say that the results weren't all that pretty is an understatement.

But wait there's more, I just found out before I went to Lasalle College, I tried my other attempts at doing caricatures.
Rowan Atkinson, AKA MR. BEAN
Don Rickles

Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert

George Luca(from the good old days)

Matt Groening

Seth Macfarlane

However, these older caricatures had slipups of my art style. I need to change that. And like I said, future caricatures will have to been done on paper. None of that Generative AI bullshit that's being pushed around by companies like Adobe, Corel, GIMP, Krita, etc.

These early caricatures may have been painted using digital software but the Andy Warhol drawing proved I can do caricatures strictly on paper so that will be where my caricatures will be going drawn from here there-on.

And how's about something a little meta for some of you:
An attempt at trying caricature myself.
This is me back when I was 19 years old. I looked so young back then...

Of course, times have changed. For one thing, I've gained weight in the recent years and another, I'm shaving less often so I may need to do another self portrait of myself when I get the chance but yeah, that's the gist of this short post about caricatures.

As of now,
I've gotten to drawing caricatures of Sean Connery, Kirk Douglas, and Ralph Bakshi.
No, they do not look like my art style. They are drawings that deviate away from my art style.
I do have the drawings but I forgot to take photos of them with my iPhone 15 Pro but I promise to unveil them when I get the chance to do so.
